Marketplace Role
Tree Snatch is an online marketplace where users can buy and sell plants, fruit trees, seeds, cuttings, farm products, and other related goods. Tree Snatch does not own, inspect, store, or ship the items listed on the platform. All plants and products are offered by independent sellers who are responsible for their listings and transactions.
User Accounts
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use the Tree Snatch platform.
Users must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
Tree Snatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate site rules, misuse the platform, or provide false information.
Listings and Seller Responsibility
Sellers must ensure that all listings are accurate and represent the actual plant or product being sold. Photos should reflect the real item whenever possible.
Sellers are responsible for:
• Accurately identifying plant varieties and products
• Shipping items safely and within the timeframe stated in the listing
• Packaging plants properly to reduce shipping stress
• Following all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale or shipment of plants and products
Selling illegal, restricted, or prohibited items is strictly forbidden.
Buying and Payments
When a buyer purchases an item, they are entering into a transaction directly with the seller. Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders, shipping items, and communicating with buyers.
Tree Snatch is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers but may assist in resolving issues when possible.
Marketplace Fees
Tree Snatch may charge fees for listings, sales transactions, store features, or promotional tools. Sellers agree to pay all applicable fees associated with their use of the platform.
Failure to pay required fees may result in account suspension or removal of listings.
Transaction Fee Refunds
If a seller refunds a buyer for a completed transaction, the seller may request a refund of the Tree Snatch transaction fee.
Transaction fee refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the original transaction date. Tree Snatch reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests at its discretion.
Approved refunds will be credited to the seller’s Tree Snatch account balance.
Shipping and Plant/Product Condition
Plants are living items and their condition may change during shipping. Buyers understand that variations in size, color, and health may occur due to natural growing conditions and transportation.
Sellers should package plants carefully and ship promptly to minimize shipping stress.
For non-plant products, sellers must accurately describe the condition and contents of the item being sold.
Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
• Sell illegal, restricted, or prohibited plants or products
• Misrepresent items or plant varieties
• Attempt to bypass the platform’s payment system
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Engage in fraudulent activity or scams
Tree Snatch reserves the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Limitation of Liability
Tree Snatch provides the platform “as is” and is not responsible for the quality, condition, legality, or delivery of plants or products sold by users.
Users agree that Tree Snatch is not liable for damages arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.
Changes to These Terms
Tree Snatch may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted means you accept the revised terms.
